Frugal Friday #4

Welcome back to Frugal Friday. I have been asking lots of friends for budgeting ideas lately to continue to share with you how to save money, and in some cases even make a little too.

This week I only really have one bit of advice. As I am coming up to the time when I can renew my mobile phone contract (or upgrade for a simplistic term) I am starting to question what I really want out of my mobile phone. I have recently been swayed by the ipad2 and am considering changing from my Blackberry contract to an iphone. Why? Better deals? No of course not, its just simply a sexier little bit of kit.

This is wrong of me and of course I will be looking at all options like inclusive minuets and unlimited txt messages and internet usage etc. If you can find a cheaper deal for your phone (including landlines ladies and gentlemen) then you could save yourself a fortune. When was the last time you had your bill broken down? What did you spend the most on? Have you
hassled I mean spoken to your provider to see what they can offer you? If not do it. Don't be afraid of being pushy. As I said to a good friend of mine recently, if you do not ask you do not get.
So thus far we've learnt:

If you would like to guest blog a Frugal Friday post then please do not hesitate to get in touch with me via my contact page.
Take care

I was swayed by the iPhone last year and never looked back. Contract ended up the same price as my blackberry but with the added bonus of apps that allow me to blog on the go, saving me time in the long run!
Really looking forwards to your frugal journey! I've learned a few things but have miles to go!
