A Cheeky Treat

As Youngling had been struggling at school I was dreading going to pick him up for fear of what his teachers would tell me. I needn't have worried for my stern talking to had seemed to have worked. I was told yesterday that Youngling had been exceptionally good and kind, polite and helpful. I was so proud of him. I almost cried with relief.

Mum and I decided to reward his good behaviour by a trip to the kids club at the cinema and since its only £1 to get in we thought we would both go along too. Why do housework when you can watch an animated film with your child.

We got some popcorn, chocolate and water to drink and only made a slight dent in the snacks as we were literally laughing out loud from the moment the film began. I have to say Arthur Christmas was the funniest film ever and I am really hoping my Mum gets it for us for Christmas as I would watch it all year round. There are some adult humour moments as well as the general slapstick comedy which is for everyone.

Youngling was laughing out loud and sitting on the edge of his seat the entire film -until he asked me for 'cuggles' which I can never say no.

Here is a clip of Arthur Christmas which I highly recommend you watch with your younglings.

What's your favourite childrens film?

Take care
Love
